Haliburton stands perched on the shores of Head Lake. The beautifully laid out village with its interconnected series of parks does justice to the waterfront's potential, providing many inviting, green public spaces, with flower boxes, walking paths, a playground and public beach.

In this setting, the Haliburton Highlands Guild of Crafts hold their annual Art and Craft Festival.

Max started carving soapstone with me about 12 years ago. Over the years, he has developed his own personal style of sculpture, that intrigues the people attending the festival. It is always a pleasure to be showing with him in the festival.
