1. The tools necessary for this carving, are a hacksaw blade with one end wrapped in duct tape to act as a handle. The teeth of the saw blade should always point away from the handle. You will also need a file of some type, or a coarse piece of sandpaper. For the sanding you will require several grades of silicon carbide waterproof paper, 240 and 600 grits will do. 2 I chose an square, flat piece of stone to make the heart. |
3. With the hacksaw, cut off 3 corners of the square as shown in the picture on the left. |
4. Cut a notch at the top, creating the semblance of a heart. |
